Smart Home - Are you at risk for surveillance or hacking?

It seems as if something with software running, or anything electronic or has the possibility of being hacked. Worse, the authorities want a way into everything and anything that stores, collects or disseminates information. But then, if the authorities
have a door, or a way, so is anyone who wants to find access to hack, I would say ". This is where the problem lies "Well then, let's talk about the Smart Grid type of electricity and computer systems the proverbial smart home if we could counters. There was a rather disturbing article in the Wall Street Journal, August 3, 2013 entitled "Hacking smart homes are a risk," by Danny Yadron The article explains how a hacker can break into your house and. open security system, deadbolt and enter without even being there. This is a scary thought, and even if it was done really for bragging rights at the Las Vegas Convention hackers, it does not do n 'anyone feel safer by a long shot.If you have a smart home that is set up to run the most effective way, then there are systems to control everything, once your house is wired, it comes alive as "HAL" and can support almost all your needs for temperature control, lighting, energy saving, internet access, cooking, refrigerating, and so on. It can download information, patches and new software, and it can alert you when you are by remote control if there is an intruder. Unless someone were to switch this function, of course, which means you can turn it off yourself or maybe someone else that you do not know can be done by remote control. If you remember the movie Poltergeist you might find that this slight mischief your smart home can come with when an attacker runs the program. Remember, these days, nothing is certain. The Pentagon hacked by Chinese companies and banks credit card by pirates and now they are getting into mobile payments on smart phones too. The pirates took control of the navigation system in Super Yachts, hacked military drone drone video and WiFi systems from 60 miles away on top of a capricious mountain - so tell me, is it dangerous do you really believe your future smart home might be?But do not worry, you say you have the best computer security, secret passwords, and money can buy the system - really - like all the other things I mentioned and all companies in the multi conglomerate -National with larger than the GDP of most nations is not that revenue? Well, I guess my warning fell on deaf ears - my mistake - you must be right, but I hope you sleep well tonight. Please consider all this and think on it
